Posted by admin On August - 10 - 2009ADD COMMENTS

It’s said that for every 1 human year a dog ages 7 years.  This mean if a dog is 10 years old then in human years they are actually 70 years old.  I would say the Internet is at least two [...] Continue Reading…

It seems the concensus is that Microsoft is the clear winner in this deal!  The terms of the deal involves Yahoo! search being powered by it’s competitor, Bing, while sharing the search revenue of Yahoo.  That does sound awesome for Microsoft, but when I think of the deal in a wide-eyed view it may work in Yahoo favor.

Yahoo has essentially secured a way to serve and deliver their search demands on leased equipment for [...] Continue Reading…

Like hundreds of other people, I anticipated that Google would eventually come out with their own operating system to compete with Microsoft OS.  Google finally officially announced Google Chrome OS.  This news is no surprise, but I am surprised by the brazen attitude of Google, such as this statement

Posted by admin On June - 29 - 2009ADD COMMENTS

Gmail has a new tips section which walks you through the features of Gmail in a fun series of martial arts classes.  Are you a Gmail Ninja?

I never realized all the features and uses for Gmail.  It’s been my favorite email client for the last few years but I rarely use all the available features.  I’m only a white belt!

Buying and selling user accounts may prove to be worthwhile if you can get over the unethical feeling.  Would you purchase someone’s Twitter account for the benefit of gaining their active friends list?  What about a Facebook or MySpace account?  How about a popular forum or discussion board account?  A new service, Assetize.com allows you to do just that.

I personally like the idea, because there is value in ownership of a popular user account, [...] Continue Reading…

No Keyword Suggestions for Sexy Lingerie

Posted by admin On June - 16 - 2009ADD COMMENTS

Google isn’t looking too sexy these days.  Are you telling me there are no keyword suggestions for a keyword term such as “Sexy Lingerie”?  I’ve never seen Google run out of suggestions for legitimate words.  I’m declaring this one a googlewhack! Even though its a little unorthodox, because it is not Google Search and it did not bring back any results at all.  Being officially googlewhacked on Google search means your query only brought [...] Continue Reading…

If clients took the time to understand exactly what goes into an SEO campaign then they would know that it is a lot of time and effort. Once in a while I come across clients who want to set up a commission-based or performance-based only arrangement. I do not have any problems with this type of arrangement, but most clients expect work now pay later services and fail to realize that this [...] Continue Reading…
